At Savvy Gardens, we are committed to providing high-quality products and a seamless customer experience. Below are our policies regarding warranties, returns, exchanges, and refunds.
30-Day Product Warranty
All products are covered by a 30-day warranty from the delivery date, ensuring peace of mind with your purchase. If a claim is necessary, customers are responsible for shipping fees unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Returns & Refunds
Due to the restricted nature of certain products, most restricted items are non-refundable. We do not accept returns; however, we offer a product-for-product exchange to ensure you receive exactly what you paid for.
If contamination occurs within 30 days of delivery, contact our support team immediately. Upon verification, we will arrange an exchange for the affected product.
Refunds:
Orders canceled within 24 hours of purchase, after submitting a valid ID (if required), are eligible for a 90% refund to cover restocking fees. Orders canceled after 24 hours are non-refundable.
Exchange Policy
To initiate an exchange, provide the following:
- Order number
- Clear images of the issue
- Photos of the used syringe showing batch number
- Inoculation date
- Temperature conditions
- Detailed explanation of your sterile process
For 3 lb Grain Spawn & All-in-One Grow Kits, claims must be submitted within 30 days of delivery via Email ONLY. Social media direct messages will not be accepted.
For transparency, we require a short video of the contaminated product being disposed of away from your grow area. If approved, we will issue a replacement coupon for a 3 lb All-in-One or Grain Spawn Kit, plus a 3cc syringe of your choice (policy: 1cc per lb).
Customers are responsible for all shipping fees, which help us maintain fair exchange policies while ensuring product integrity.
Pre-Inoculated Bags & Identification Policy
A valid ID must be presented at pickup or delivery. If an ID is not available or does not match the order, a refund will not be processed.
Accepted forms of ID include:
- Driver’s License or State-Issued Photo ID
- U.S. Passport or Passport Card
- Birth Certificate (Original or Certified Copy)
- Military ID
- USCIS or Legal Documents
Order Collection & Missed Pickups
Once your order is ready, you will receive a notification email. You have 3 days to pick up your order. Due to limited storage, uncollected items will be discarded without refund. We understand that sometimes schedules don't go as planned. If you miss your pickup window, there's no need to worry about additional costs for reordering the same items; contact us within one hour of pickup, and we'll arrange for their shipment or another pickup. For deliveries, if you anticipate any issues or won't be available to receive your order, please contact our support team promptly within 1 hour of your appointment to reschedule or discuss shipping options.
Syringe Warranty & Contamination Claims
⚠️ If contamination occurs, an agar test must be conducted prior to any inoculations to verify the issue. Submit clear images of the test, including inoculation date and a photo of the syringe with batch number. A free replacement will be issued upon verification.
⚠️ Due to the restricted nature of our products, valid age verification (21+) must be submitted before shipping. Orders without ID verification will not be refunded unless they contain gourmet or medicinal strains.
⚠️ Our warranty only applies to Savvy Gardens products. If third-party substrates, grains, or agar plates are used, we cannot guarantee sterility, and replacements will not be issued.
Additional Product Policies
- Agar Plates: If plates arrive melted or contaminated, provide clear images for prompt resolution. For persistent issues, a replacement coupon will be issued. Proper storage (plates stored upside down) is required.
- Spore Prints/Swabs: Each print/swab is unique. All sales are final.
- Research Culture Plates: If an issue arises, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with a clear image and order number.
- Colorado Locals: If beyond the 30-day return window, we offer exchanges. In-person exchanges/deliveries are available at your expense. Contact us via Chat Bubble for arrangements.

When requesting an exchange, you must bring the product being exchanged. If the item has been discarded, refer to our prior communication for claim validation.
We communicate with hundreds of customers, and without the product or proper reference, we may be unable to process your exchange efficiently. Ensure you have the necessary documentation to help us assist you.
